This is an excellent example of the 1972 Denver minted Kennedy Half Dollar with the "No FG" mint error. Excessive polishing of the die at the mint lead to the coin's designer's initials - FG for Frank Gasparo - being eliminated.

The coin also exhibits the extremely weak strike of the tail feathers on the eagle, a marker for the true No FG error. This is a legitimate No FG coin, most that you will find will either have a weak FG, or some semblance ("blobs") of the FG being visible. In my opinion, this coin is in an AU grade.

The photos are of the exact coin that you will be purchasing, so use them to determine condition and grade for yourself.
