PCS Complete Uncirculated John F. Kennedy Half Dollar Collection Set 1964-2017

POSTAL COMMEMORATIVE SOCIETY COMPLETE JOHN F. HALF DOLLAR COLLECTION COIN & STAMP SET. The set is titled The Complete John F. Half Dollar Collection, featuring all the Kennedy halves minted for general circulation from 1964 to 2017 (no halves were minted in 1975). Coins from both the Philadelphia and Denver mint are included (no San Francisco coins).

Each coin is in uncirculated condition (no proof coins included). The 1964 silver halves and the 40% silver halves minted between 1965 and 1970 are part of this set. The set has 51 different panels (not including title panels), 49 with 2 coins, and 2 panels with a single coin (100 coins total).

The panels begin with JFK's birth, each featuring specially commissioned artwork and interesting narrative about an important day in Kennedy's life (and death). The coins are complemented with historic stamps and postmarks that celebrate the momentous events described on the panel. This impressive collection is a unique commemoration of JFK's brief but accomplished life and career. The collection is housed in 2 vinyl display binders made especially for this set by PCS.

One of the binders is titled slightly differently (25th anniversary), perhaps the original name of the collection that was expanded later. Condition of this Postal Commemorative Society Kennedy half dollar set is EXCELLENT. All of the coins in the set are uncirculated. The stamps are in mint unused condition. One of the albums has a creased front cover (see last photo).

Some of the plastic sheets enclosing the panels are a little dirty, but there are extra empty sheets to replace them with, if desired. Overall, this collectible set looks fantastic and would make a fine addition to any collection.
